Hand Animation - Reflection

Hand Animation - Reflection

One thing in my animation i could've fixed would have been the timing of my hand movements which means i would need to slow them down just a little and made it smoother and i could've made the animation a few seconds longer.

Second i could've slowed down the movement of the camera giving people a chance to view more of what was going on in my animation.

The strengths in my animation would be my hand and the way it was designed and also in the structure of my scene and how it all correlated together.

Camera Movements And Emotions Of A Story

How Camera Movements Can Affect Emotions And The Story
camera angles and movements of the camera can create lots of emotion attacthment and feeling toward a movie and character(s) within the movie

  • Crane down- camera entering in from an upward shot moving downwards joining into a story
  • Crane up- shows what the the character is going to be facing and what the obstacle is that he's going against
  • high to low angle shot- create a menacing looking character and makes them look even more in charge
  • handheld camera movement- gives us an unsettling feeling and sense of danger
  • quick pan- can change the mood of the scene in the matter of seconds just by sliding to the side to reveal whats going on
  • quick push in- shows surprise or shock on a character
  • slow dolly in- shows tension and gives a sense of intimacy when moved in closer
  • slowly dolly out- shows the character being lost and not understanding of whats going on and to give a sense of confusion
  • 360 reveal- sense of surveying the area and showing that something is bound to happen so get ready

Definition of different lighting

Tonal Range- Even lighting in an object(s), easily viewable details from lighting not to bright and not to dark

Light and Shadow- Areas where there is a a great/low amount of darkness and lightness distributed in a scene, also allows the object to look more 3 dimensional

Three point lighting-
 + Key point lighting
 +Fill Light
 +Rim Light

Implied Light- Can make your scene seem "larger" also includes a light that is off camera

Back Lighting- Main source of lighting coming from behind objects it also creates a softer looking image

Silhouette Lighting- Lighting that appears behind the object and creates an outline of the object(s)

Non-Key Lighting- Creates an interesting image and to where the light bounces off the area also making the scene look softer

Difficulties
The only difficulty that I had on this project was modeling the handle with the Diamond indentions in the outside of it, other than that that was the only difficult part of it the rest was pretty easy.
